FRIENDLY FROG~
One of the jobs of the Friendly Frog is to announce to the class what the "Special Classes" are for the day.
In the photo below, George checks the Special Classes and finds out we have Spanish today!
KJ helps find out how many words are in the last sentence of the Morning Message. He circles each word and finds out there are 6 words in the sentence.
We traveled to the nurses' office today to meet the nurses and see where they work. The Pre-K children were relieved to know that the nurses don't give shots!
We traveled upstairs today to the 2nd grade classrooms to meet our 2nd grade buddies! Today, we played the game "Just Like Me" and played on the playground. We will meet with our buddies once or twice a month for special activities.

EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
Today our friends who have not yet visited the pool, went to meet Mr. Yakscoe and to tour the locker rooms and pool. Next Thursday, September 18th will be our first swimming class in the pool!
