FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
Today we added a size sorting activity to the Discovery Station.
Also during Free Choice today, we made a graph of the letters in our name.
At the end of Free Choice, the Friendly Frog plays the clean-up song which signals everyone to stop working and to clean up.
Today we discussed other members of our school family--the school nurses. Tomorrow, we will meet and visit Mrs. Hoagland and Mrs. Fireman in their office tomorrow.
For Rest, one child is chosen to rest in the loft of the Dramatic Play Station. This person also gets to choose the story that is read before Rest. Today is was KJ's turn!
Today we did our first cooking activity! We discussed what a recipe is/does, what ingredients are and the importance of washing hands before we cook! The children made homemade granola bars! Each child helped add and mix ingredients. After the bars baked, we ate them for snack!
