Today each child added his/her name and photo card to our Word Wall.
Today we read the story of Silly Sally in a BIG BOOK! As we read, the children made predictions, using the illustrations, about what would happen next in the story.
During Free Choice time, children can visit the Book Nook to retell the story of Silly Sally using a special pointer to point to the words, as he/she reads.
FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
At the Creation Station, children can create a mosaic by coloring squares with crayons or markers or gluing on colorful squares.
We had some busy builders in the Construction Zone today!
THE AMERICAN FLAG~
Today we learned and discussed the American flag. We counted the stars and the stripes and learned what each stand for. Tomorrow, we will begin saying the Pledge of Allegiance before our Morning Meeting.
