ROSH HASHANAH~
Today we read a story about the Jewish holidays, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Be sure to ask your child what the shofar is (a ram's horn). Ask your child why we offered honey to dip apples in during snack.

STAR OF THE WEEK~
Our Star of the Week is Claire Z. Claire told us some of her favorite things: pink and purple (favorite colors); Winking Lizard (favorite restaurant); and a camel (favorite animal). Claire also shared photos with us and her stuffed animal horse. Thank you for helping us get to know you better, Claire!
HEAD OF SCHOOL~
Today we traveled to the office of the Head of School to meet and talk with Mrs. Soderberg. She read to us the story, One-Dog Canoe.
EXTENDED DAY~
Today was a Swimming Day! The children did very well getting in the water and participating in the lessons/activities, including traveling to the deep end by moving like a train along the pool wall.
