In today's Morning Message, we discussed what a compound word is. Be sure to ask your child what compound word was in our Morning Message.

COLORS~
Be sure to ask your child about the story we read today about an elephant who tried to change his color. Children can retell this story using props in our Book Nook.
NUMBER WRITING~
Today we learned and practiced writing the numbers 5 and 6. Be sure to ask your child to share the poems we say to help us remember how to write these numbers.
Today was a Swimming Day! A gentle reminder: Please have girls wear pants or leggings under a jumper (no tights) on swimming days. This makes for easier dressing after swimming class. Thank you!
