~BUDDIES~
Today we did a snowman glyph with our buddies to find out about what we do or don't like about Winter. Be sure to ask your child what his/her snowman looks like.
~STAR OF THE WEEK~
Our Star of the Week is Lucy! Today we learned that Lucy's favorite things include: pink and purple (favorite colors); turtles (favorite animal); and Disney World (favorite place to visit). Lucy shared photos with us and her Elsa Doll that can even sing in Spanish. We enjoyed getting to know you better, Lucy!
~HANDWRITING~
Today we learned and practiced the correct way to write an upper case "T" and an upper case "I".
Today we read the nursery rhyme, "Three Little Kittens". Children will have the opportunity to retell this nursery rhyme using flannel board pieces in the Book Nook during Free Choice time.
~EXTENDED DAY~
Our "Special" today was an all-school pep rally! The children got to watch the 3rd grade students do their basketball dribbling routine and also did some cheers for the Vikes!
