MORNING MESSAGE~

During today's Morning Message, children shared words (both real and "nonsense") that rhyme with frog.

FREE CHOICE LEARNING~ 

We introduced 3 new activities today during Free Choice time.

In the photos below, children are sorting objects by size.

 In the photos below, children are creating a mosaic.

 The third activity we introduced was working on spelling classmates' names with a model card and letter tiles.

CLASS RULES~ 

Last week, the children shared their ideas for rules to follow while at school/in our classroom.  Mrs. "B" and Mrs. Spolter condensed the rules into 3 simple ones so that they are easy to remember.

They are...

1.  Take care of yourself.

2.  Take care of others.

3.  Take care of our space and our things. 

At the bottom of our rules was a place for everyone to sign his/her name, promising to follow these rules so that we have a safe place to learn and play.

 SILLY SALLY~

Today we read a fun book called, Silly Sally.  Be sure to ask your child why Sally is silly. 

EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~ 

Today the children had Art with Mr. Cicetti and Mr. Cross.  Mr. Cicetti introduced the children to art on the I-pad.  This was one of the activities children could choose today during Art.
