FREE CHOICE LEARNING~

We added 2 new activities for Free Choice time.  At the Construction Zone, we added Legos for building.

 At Math Magic, we added a 100 Number Chart and a Counting Basket filled with frogs.  Children discover how many items are in the Counting Basket by placing/counting them on the chart.  Tej discovered there were 50 frogs!

CHRYSANTHEMUM~   
Today we read a story about a girl with 13 letters in her name.  After the story, we charted the number of letters in our names.  We will continue to do many name activities next week.

EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~

Today was our first swimming day!  The children did a FABULOUS job changing into swim suits; getting into the water and following directions; and changing back into their clothes.  The swim instructors were very impressed!
