SCHOOL FAMILY~
We met two more members of our Academy family--Mrs. Soderberg and Mrs. Nelson. Mrs. Soderberg read the class a story called, Blueberries for Sal.
Today we introduced several new activities for Free Choice time. Children can do a word find where they search for their classmates' names.
In the photo below, Bella is choosing a letter from the small pail and then colors it in on a recording sheet.
In the photo below, Nathan chooses a number tile from the basket and then locates it on the "100 Board".
Using playdough, letter stamps and name cards, children can practice spelling their classmates' names by stamping them into the playdough.
Rocco exercises his spatial reasoning skills and fills the triangle tray with various pattern block shapes.

Today was a Swimming Day! The report from the swim instructors are that the Pre-K students are doing a great job in the water!
