MORNING MEETING~
Today we introduced and did a new greeting during Morning Meeting. The child with the magnifying glass says "Good Morning_______." to the child sitting beside him/her. After the child receives a greeting back, he/she holds up the magnifying glass and looking at the child says, "It's nice to see you."
BIRTHDAYS~
After reading a birthday story, each child colored a birthday cake and glued it on a page of his/her birthday month. We will combine all the pages and turn it into our class birthday book.
FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
Children enjoyed the opportunity to use the playdough we made ourselves yesterday during Extended Day.
I CAN READ~
Today we introduced an activity the children can do in on the pocket chart in the Book Nook. This activity provides the children with the opportunity to read environmental print, proving that they can read!
Children visited the Art room today. Mr. Cicetti provided the with painting, drawing and making clay sculpture activities.
