ZERO THE HERO DAY~
Today we celebrated our 140th day of school! Claire and her mom brought in visors for us to make to help us celebrate! Thank you for a fun activity!
We introduced new activities and materials today for use during Free Choice time.
At the Fine Motor Station, children can practice writing their numbers.
Also at the Fine Motor Station are flower and butterfly molds to use with playdough.
Avery and KJ tear paper into small pieces for us to use for an activity we are doing later.

At the Discovery Station, children can create the life cycle of a butterfly with stamps.
MUSIC CLASS~
In today's Music class, Clare played "It's A Small World" on the piano for her classmates. Bravo, Clare!
LIFE CYCLE OF A BUTTERFLY~
Today we read a story about where butterflies grow. This story helped us prepare for transforming our Dramatic Play Station into a Butterfly Garden. Children were able to choose one part of the butterfly life cycle to make today and can make additional items at the Creation Station during Free Choice time.
Some children made the egg on a leaf.
Some children made caterpillars.
Some children made a chrysalis.....
Today was a Discovery Day! Since Earth Day is this week, we decided to do something for the Earth and planted flowers! We have "window boxes" that sit on the fence of the Pre-K playground. So, we planted the flowers in the boxes.
