ASK ME ABOUT...
...the special visitor in our classroom today.
...where I went and what I did for Work Stations.
...what I made in Spanish.
...our new "Star of the Week".
...the story, There Was A Bold Lady Who Wanted A Star.
FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
Luke and Anna "launching" their rockets they made at the Discovery Station during Work Stations.
Avery and KJ are the first two students to put numbers in order to 100!
STAR OF THE WEEK~
Our new "Star of the Week" is Margo! Margo's favorite things include: blue (favorite color); Ethel her pet dog (favorite animal); and gymnastics (favorite activity). We also got to know Margo better through the photos she shared with us. Thanks, Margo!
SPANISH~
In today's Spanish class, children created a rocket and Space picture using shapes. They reviewed the names of the shapes in Spanish.
OUTDOOR PLAY~
We took advantage of the warm weather today (and the brief period of time when it wasn't raining) and took our play outside. We didn't even need our coats! Welcome Spring!
SPECIAL VISITOR~
Today was "Trustee Day" at Columbus Academy. Members of the Board of Trustees visited classrooms in all 3 divisions--Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. Mr. Jeffers spent the morning in our classroom and even ate lunch with us! Remy served as Mr. Jeffers' "host". All the children enjoyed having Mr. Jeffers spend the day with us!
