WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY 10-29-14

ASK ME ABOUT...
...the new mixing color activity we can do at the Discovery Station.
...where I went and what I did for Work Stations.
...singing you the song I learned in Spanish.
...how we practiced the letter sounds today using sand.
...the story, Who Said Red?.
...what I did in Music.
...the story, The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything.
LETTER SOUNDS~
Today we reviewed each letter sound that we have introduced so far by writing the letter in the sand as we verbally said the sound it made.  The children really enjoyed this sensory, tactile activity!

 FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
At the Discovery Station, children can experiment with mixing together primary colors of water.  This was a  very popular activity today!

 STORYTIME~
Ms. Schroeder read us the story below today about a little old lady who wasn't afraid of anything!  Be sure to ask your child what happens at the end of the story!
 AUTHOR SHARING~
Remy and Amara share books they created at the Writing Station during Free Choice time.
 EXTENDED DAY~
Children in the Extended Day Pre-K visited Mr. Cicetti in the Art room today.  Since Halloween is fast-approaching, Mr. "C" let the children paint/design their own masks.

Can you tell who is who?!
