Spencer completes the color word activity at the bulletin board. Children match the color word (written in black) to the color of objects. There is a poster written in the color words the children can use as a reference.
EXTENDED DAY~
Today we were scientists! First we discussed what the word dissolve means--something that breaks down into smaller parts or "disappears" when mixed in water. Next, children were in partners and added a substance to a clear cup of water. Before adding the substance, the children were asked to predict whether or not the substance would or would not dissolve in water.
