ASK ME ABOUT...
...the question on the Morning Message.
...what I did in Music.
...what Vivian reported about last night's moon in the Moon Journal.
...what I learned about constellations.
...the constellation that I helped to make and what we named it.
...the Dr. Seuss story, I Wish I Had Duck Feet.
...what I need to bring and what I need to wear to school next Monday on "Read Across America" day.
FREE CHOICE~

OUTER SPACE~
We continued learning about stars and constellations today.
We divided the class into 2 groups. Each group created its own constellation, including naming it.
The Unicorn Group's constellation, "The Great Maze", is pictured below.
The Dolphin Group's constellation, "The Dog", is pictured below. We will hang both constellations on the ceiling in our Space Station.
QUIET QUILT DAY~
A note came home in your child's folder today about some special activities Pre-K is going to do next Monday, March 3rd, "Read Across America" day. Pre-K children should bring in a small quilt (or blanket) and we will spend some part of our morning looking at/reading books on our quilts. Since this day is also set aside to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday, children may wear a Dr. Seuss/ Cat in the Hat style shirt (red, white, red and white striped, etc.). Dress Code should be worn from the waist down.
