MATH ACTIVITY~
Today we did an estimation activity using Valentine candy hearts. First, the children estimated how many candy hearts would fit into the heart on their paper.
Next, the children filled in the heart on their paper with heart candies.
Once the heart was filled, the children counted the hearts and filled in the actual number of hearts.
Harper took home the moon observation journal last night. Today, she shared the drawing she made in the journal which represented the moon she saw last night. Be sure to ask your child what Harper's moon looked like.
Today we helped Walker celebrate his February birthday. Walker's grandmother read the story, Muncha, Muncha, Muncha. Then, we ate yummy Rice Krispie Treats for Walker's birthday treat. Happy Birthday, Walker!
