...the story, BIGMAMA'S.

STORY~
Today we read the story, BIGMAMA'S by Donald Crews.  Big Mama was also a character in another book we read last week called, Shortcut.
COLORS~
Today we did a mixing color activity so the children could observe first-hand what happens when you mix 2 or 3 different colors together.  Be sure to ask your child what happens when you mix together...

STAR OF THE WEEK~
Our Star of the Week is Walker!  Walker's favorite things include the color blue, eating at Rusty Bucket, and playing with construction toys.  Walker also brought in a barricade that he made with his dad.  Thank you for helping us get to know you better, Walker!

 FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
At the Creation Station, the children can create their own dog from yesterday's story, Dog's Colorful Day.  This was a VERY popular activity today.

Our Book Nook has been very busy during Free Choice time.  Children are enjoying retelling stories with props.

Sophia and Emily count the pumpkins from the counting basket and make it to 100!

We decorated our letter "X" with eXclamation points!
