Our class book is complete and now available to read in our Book Nook. This class book is an extension of the book we read earlier, The Day The Crayons Quit! .
Today we learned more about our friend Mitch, the new Star of the Week! Mitch's favorite things include: green (favorite color); cake (favorite dessert); and a tiger (favorite animal). Mitch also shared his soccer trophy. Thank you for helping us get to know you better!
AUTHOR SHARING~
We had many Pre-K authors sharing their books today with classmates.
STORYTIME~
Today we read a big book called, Sheep on a Ship. The children were quick to hear and identify the rhyming words heard in this story. There were also some new vocabulary words, including "collide".
Today was a swimming day! The children had some "Free Time" today in the water. They were able to practice skills they have been learning and could choose different equipment to use, including inner tubes and noodles!
