Today we helped Spencer celebrate his November birthday! Spencer's mom read the story, Fireman Small--Fire Down Below. Then we ate yummy pumpkin brownies for Spencer's birthday treat. Happy Birthday, Spencer!
Today's Discovery activity involved baking soda, vinegar with food coloring and eye droppers. Each child had his/her own tray with baking soda. Using an eye dropper, children would get vinegar and then drop it in the tray of baking soda. They watched and listened to what happened when the two substances mixed together. They also could mix the colors as there were 3 cups of vinegar--one cup for each primary color.
