~LIFE CYCLE OF A BUTTERFLY~

We used the story pictured below to review what we learned about the 4 different stages of a butterfly's life.  And, we introduced many new butterfly activities to do during Free Choice time.

 Looking at butterfly specimens with magnifying glasses.

 Ethan, Lauren and Alex work together on a butterfly jigsaw puzzle.

 

 

 Using butterfly and flower connectagons, children can create different structures.

 

 

~FREE CHOICE LEARNING~

Ian and Tej count the new objects in the counting basket--bunnies and chicks.

 There was a total of 200!

 Chi-Chi works with the geoboard.

 Poppy shares her artistic skills.

 Nathan and Camille work together to fill the hexagon tray with trapezoid pieces.
