~FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
Today we introduced some new activities for the Fine Motor Station.  Both activities were very popular!

Using a hammer, wooden shapes, small nails and a cork board, children can create designs of their own or copy from a picture.

 Also at the Fine Motor Station, children can create a flower or a butterfly using small beads (pearler beads).  This is a tedious and time-consuming task to place the beads on the template.  When all the beads have been placed, it is ironed by a teacher and the beads melt/stick together.

 
 

 

 To review the life cycle of a butterfly, children are asked to correctly order 8 photos.

Tomorrow we will have photos and explanations of the new set of Work Stations we are starting.

~EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
Today was a Teacher Choice day and we did Technology.  Children enjoyed the opportunity to choose from various activities on the I-Pads, including Kodable, Rush Hour and SkyFish.
