~NEW WORK STATIONS~
At Games Galore, children will work to put together a puzzle of the butterfly life cycle. 

At the Creation Station, children will paint a section of an egg carton to create a caterpillar.

At the Alphabet Station, children will draw pictures of objects beginning with the /C/ sound and label them using inventive spelling or their sight word knowledge.

At Math Magic, children will roll a die and then document the amount 4 different ways--how it looks on the die, the written number, tally marks and on a ten-frame.

At the Writing Station, children will roll a die and write a password from the word wall containing the same amount of letters as dots on the die.

At the Discovery Station, children create a caterpillar pattern.

 ~WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD~

Today we read a story called Whoever You Are by Mem Fox.  We also have been sharing what each Pre-K child's family wrote about him/her being special.
