ASK ME ABOUT...
...where I went and what I did for Work Stations.
...what letter we decorated and what we put on it.
...what we did at Assembly.
...what we did at the library with Mrs. Arner.
...what book I checked out from the library.
...what we are going to turn the Dramatic Play Station into next week.
...the red letter in my folder about Veterans Day.
 ASSEMBLY~
Once a week, the Lower School gathers in the theater for Assembly.  The Assembly gathering is run like a Morning Meeting and grade levels take turns planning and running the Assembly.  Grade levels share with the Lower School what they are learning and doing in their classrooms.  Today was Pre-K's turn to "run" Assembly.  Below are photos and a video from today's Assembly, including our Morning Message, the greeting we taught and did with the Lower School, the sharing of songs we have been learning in Music, and the rhyming activity we did with the Lower School.  Be sure to ask your child about today's Assembly.  They did a FABULOUS job!!!!

Please look for the red note sent home today in your child's folder.  In honor of Veteran's Day next week, we would like to know if there are members of your family who are involved in the military.  Please complete the attached red form and send it back to school in your child's folder.  Thank you!
 FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
Children can create a color book of their choosing during Free Choice time.  They can also read the book using the words and the pictures.

We decorated our letter "F" with Friendly Frog Faces!

 EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
io0Today we did a math game on the SMARTBoard.  The game was called "Race to 100".  Skills worked on were one-to-one correspondence, addition, and numeral recognition.
