Children had the opportunity to design and create things for our "Beach". A lot of good thinking going on today!
We wrote our first names on the letter "N".
The group that worked with Mrs. Crain focused on one-to-one correspondence and recognition of 2-digit numbers.
Ms. Hansen's math group worked with number sense--discussing what a number is and favorite numbers.
Today we helped Lauren celebrate her December birthday (a little early). Lauren's mom read a Scooby Doo story and we then ate Scooby Snacks for Lauren's birthday treat! Happy Birthday, Lauren!
EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
The children spent time in Art this afternoon with Mr. Cicetti. Activities included learning about the artist Henri Rousseau, making marshmallow sculptures, working with clay, drawing, and painting.
