FANTASTIC FRIDAY 1-16-15

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!~
Today we helped Amara celebrate her half-birthday. (Her real birthday is in July.).  Amara's mom read the story, Brave, and then we ate carrot muffins for Amara's birthday treat!  Happy Half-Birthday, Amara! 

TALLY MARKS~
We learned about tally marks today and practiced making them with popsicle sticks.






FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
Scarlett completes a mosaic at the Creation Station.
 Anna and Claire count snowflakes and snowmen to 100.
 Margo, Lianna and Remy are busy builders in the Construction Zone.
 EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
Before we attended the MLK Asembly, we got to view all of the quilts made by Academy students, faculty and staff.  Pictured  below is the quilt made by Pre-K "A".
