Here's what Pre-K "A" children did today when they arrived!
OUTDOOR FREE CHOICE~
Although the temperature was on the cool side, we still had dry weather for Free Choice time outside! Here were some of the activities children did today...
Baseball using a beach ball and a pool noodle.
Listening and recording sounds heard outside while sitting in the pool.
Riding scooters on the sidewalk.
Racing marbles down a tube.
Building with panels.
Today was "Move Up" day in the Lower School. The Pre-K children from both A and B classes met and the Kindergarten teachers, who answered many of the Pre-K children's questions about Kindergarten. Next, we toured each Kindergarten classroom and noticed the similarities with our own Pre-K classrooms. Kindergarten, Here We Come!
EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
Today was our last Swimming Class with Mr. Yakscoe. The children celebrated with "Beach Day", where they can use the different swimming equipment and choose the activities they would like to do in the water.
