WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY 9-25-13

FRIENDLY FROG~
Morgan was the Friendly Frog today!
 MORNING MESSAGE~
Jean-Luc circles the word "hello" in the morning message.
 SELF-PORTRAIT~
Today the children drew a self-portrait.  We will have them do this activity again at the end of the school year as one way to document their growth and progress.
 
 
 
 
FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
At the Alphabet Station, children use a Venn Diagram to sort the letters in 2 classmates' names, determining which letters the two names have in common and which letters are different.

EDIBLE MAT MAN~
During Free Choice time today, Ms. Schroeder worked with small groups of children at the Snack Station.  Using edible "shapes", each child built his/her own "mat man".  The best part was eating it!


 

 
 FLEECE~
To follow up with yesterday's discussion about fleece, August brought in some fleece from sheep on his family's farm.  He shared photos of the sheep with us and real fleece!  August also shared a sheep-skin rug.  Thank you, August, for sharing your expertise!!!










 STORY~
Ms. Schroeder shared one of her favorite Mo Willem stories, Amanda And Her Alligator.
