WACKY WEDNESDAY 3-12-14

ASK ME ABOUT...
...what was wacky in our classroom.
...what was wacky about the morning message.
...where I went and what I did for Work Stations.
...what I did in P.E.
... what I learned about astronauts in Outer Space from the book, Floating In Space
...what handwriting I practiced.
...how I made a wacky version of the nursery rhyme, "Hey Diddle Diddle!".
FREE CHOICE LEARNING~
Children are working on patterning and/or sorting skills with new Outer Space objects.

 WACKY WEDNESDAY~
Be sure to ask your child about all the "wacky" things that went on in our class today!  Some things in our classroom were messed up; the children had to use spoons to spread things on to their bagels; we sang the good-bye song at the beginning of the morning; we greeted each other by saying good-bye; we made up wacky versions of the nursery rhyme, "Hey Diddle Diddle"; etc.  What a wacky day!

 OUTER SPACE~
We read a book today to help us understand more about how astronauts survive when they are in Outer Space.  Be sure to ask your child how astronauts eat, sleep and go to the bathroom in Outer Space!
