 WACKY WEDNESDAY~
Be sure to ask your child about all the "wacky" things that went on in our class today!  Some things in our classroom were messed up; the children had to use spoons to spread things on to their bagels; we sang the good-bye song at the beginning of the morning; we greeted each other by saying good-bye; we made up wacky versions of the nursery rhyme, "Hey Diddle Diddle"; etc.  What a wacky day!

 OUTER SPACE~
We read a book today to help us understand more about how astronauts survive when they are in Outer Space.  Be sure to ask your child how astronauts eat, sleep and go to the bathroom in Outer Space!

OUTER SPACE~
We added astronaut oxygen tanks to our Dramatic Play Space Station (thanks to the creative efforts of Ms. Schroeder)!  The children had a "BLAST" trying on and using them today.

We read the astronaut story pictured below.  Following the story, each student told us what he/she would see if we were really in Outer Space looking out of a rocket.  We will turn these ideas into a class book called, Astronaut, Astronaut, What Do You See?  after Spring Break.
