MORNING MESSAGE~
Below is today's question on the Morning Message. All children answered the question upon arriving at school.
During our Morning Meeting, Mrs. B. showed us how to count the stickers on each "ten frame" and turn it into an addition problem.
We transformed our Dramatic Play Station into a fire station!
HANDWRITING~
During today's handwriting time, children reviewed the letters they have learned thus far. Some children used dry erase boards and some used chalkboards to practice writing the letters.
Today we introduced identifying the different variables of a pattern with letters and what it means to repeat a pattern.
In the pattern pictured below, there are 2 different types of snowmen. It is called an AB pattern. The pattern repeats 3 times.
Next, we gave children the opportunity to demonstrate the pattern given on the task card.
