~FREE CHOICE LEARNING~

Since we are "low on snow" outside, we made our own indoor snow in our sensory tub. The best part is, our indoor snow won't melt!
At Math Magic, children can measure the height of different sized-snowmen using unifix cubes.
Tej puts his creative skills to work using the geoboard.
Bella creates silly sentences and then reads them.
Sally retells the nursery rhyme, "The Three Little Kittens" using props in the Book Nook.

Today we learned and practiced writing the upper case letters, "U" and "C".
~STORYTIME~
Since our new password is "up", we thought today was a great day to read, Great Day for UP!
~MATH~
Today we introduced an addition activity that children can choose to do during Free Choice time. Using manipulatives, ten-frames, addition cards and a recording sheet, children have a hands-on way to practice addition. More photos to come!
~EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
Today was a swimming day! The children practiced jumping in the water wearing a life jacket.
