~HANDWRITING~
Today we learned the last letter in our handwriting book--letter "Z"!
We also reviewed all the letters of the alphabet.
~ALPHABET MEMORY BOOK~
Today we drew pictures and wrote the words for foods that we think are yummy and those we think are yucky.
~CATERPILLARS~
One of our caterpillars has spun into its chrysalis!
Another caterpillar is in its "J" shape and will spin into its chrysalis soon!!
We are keeping track of how many days it will take for the butterfly to form inside the chrysalis.
~BUTTERFLIES AND MOTHS~
We reviewed what we learned yesterday about moths and butterflies. We did this by making a Venn diagram. Some characteristics went with the butterfly; some went with the moth; and some characteristics were found in both the butterfly and the moth.
~OUTDOOR WEEK~
A note came home today in your child's folder reminding you about dressing next week for Outdoor Week. Keep your fingers crossed for warm, DRY weather!
~EXTENDED DAY PRE-K~
Today was a cooking day and we decided to make something that we made earlier this year that was a huge hit--Monkey Bread! We read a story about the monkey, Curious George as a hint to what we were cooking today. There were lots of cheers when the children discovered what we were making.
