WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY 3-11-15

ASK ME ABOUT...
...the question on the Morning Message.
...what I did in Music.
...what I learned from the book, Is There Life In Outer Space?
...the space creature that I drew.
...what I learned about the planet Jupiter.
OUTER SPACE~
Today's question on the Morning Message was, "Do you believe there are aliens living in Outer Space?"  This led us into a story about whether or not there is life in Outer Space.  This book does a great job of explaining the myths about life in Outer Space from a long time ago.  It also discusses that no life has been found in Outer Space from the astronauts who have visited there and from the satellites and probes that have been sent to Outer Space and sent back information to Earth.  Following our story and discussion, each child used his/her imagination and drew a picture of what a Space creature might look like if he/she really did see one.

Claire, Avery, Remy and Scarlett work cooperatively and persevere to put together a Dr. Seuss floor puzzle.

EXTENDED DAY PRE-K

Today was a Discovery Day!  Since we have been learning that there are planets other than Earth that have volcanoes, we decided to learn a little bit more about volcanoes and watch our own volcano "erupt".
