MORNING MEETING~
Our greeting this morning involved choosing a card from the hat you see in the photo below; reading the name on the card; and greeting the person whose name is on the card.  Children greeted each other this morning by saying, "Happy Dr. Seuss Day, ____." and giving a rainbow wave.

 STORY~
Lots of silly, nonsense rhymes in today's Dr. Seuss story!

 SNACK~
Children practiced their patterning skills when making their snack today.  They alternated putting red Jell-O and whipped topping in a clear cup to make a snack that looked like the hat on "Cat in the Hat".

DR. SEUSS ACTIVITIES~

At the Alphabet Station, children matched rhyming pictures or rhyming words.
In the Construction Zone, children worked on putting together Dr. Seuss puzzles.

~At Math Magic, children measured certain areas of the room with large plastic shoes.

What would a Dr. Seuss Day be without enjoying some Dr. Seuss books?!
