TERRIFIC TUESDAY 2-5-13

 OUR 100TH DAY COLLECTIONS~
We have displayed our collection of 100 items on the bulletin board in our classroom.   We will return the items to their owners next week!

 FREE CHOICE~
Learning is so much more fun through play!
At our Fine Motor Station, we have added a hammer and nail activity.  Children can create their own designs or copy a design from a pattern on to a cork board using wooden shapes, nails, and a hammer.

Cooperative building in the Construction Zone!
Marc and Ryan count the hearts from the counting basket on the hundreds chart.

At Math Magic, children can flip a coin to get "heads" or "tails".  With each flip (a total of 10 flips), they record their results.

London practices his fine motor skills when he laces the perimeter of the mitten.
 100TH DAY ESTIMATION JARS~
On the 100th Day of School, children made a guess as to which of 3 jars (filled with different items) was the jar with 100 items.  Today, we counted the objects in each jar to discover which jar had the 100 objects.  Be sure to ask your child which jar it was!
