SOUND OF THE WEEK~
To remind us of the sound of the week, we created a letter "Z" with zeros!
Today we made our first entry in our Writer's Workshop journal. We have been modeling how to draw a story about something that has really happened to us. Today, children drew a picture and were then asked to label one part of their picture (story) using their inventive spelling.

Today we helped Jon celebrate his birthday! Jon's mom read the story, Skippyjon Jones. We then ate yummy brownies for Jon's birthday treat! Happy Birthday, Jon!
